Remote Tax Advisor (CPA) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Advisor (CPA) to join a leading financial services firm on a remote, contract basis. The role involves delivering strategic tax planning and compliance services for high‑net‑worth individuals and corporate clients across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns within required deadlines.
• Advise clients on tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other business transactions.
• Research complex tax issues and provide clear, actionable recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with evolving tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate tax strategies into broader financial planning.

Required profile

• Active CPA license with a minimum of five years of tax advisory experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in U.S. tax regulations and international tax compliance for multinational clients.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret tax codes and assess financial impacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical tax concepts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax preparation software.
• Experience using ERP systems for financial data management.
• Knowledge of international tax compliance and reporting.
