Rubric Developer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Rubric Developer to join a leading technology client on a contract basis. The role focuses on designing, testing, and maintaining evaluation rubrics that drive fair and accurate content scoring across multiple digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test, and continuously improve evaluation rubrics for content assessment tasks.
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to ensure rubric criteria align with platform objectives.
• Analyze rubric performance data to identify bias, gaps, or opportunities for refinement.
• Document rubric rules, guidelines, and usage instructions for evaluators and stakeholders.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance consistency and reliability of assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating or optimizing evaluation rubrics for content or data‑driven tasks.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics.
• Familiarity with digital content evaluation processes, especially in gig‑economy or large‑scale platforms.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting clear, structured guidelines.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure fairness and accuracy.
