About the role
GenZ Talent Pvt.Ltd is seeking an experienced Rugs & Carpets Designer to create two seasonal collections (Fall 2026 and Spring 2027). The role is contract‑based and will be carried out from Lahore, Pakistan.
Key responsibilities
- Design the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 rug collections in line with the provided Design Guidance document.
- Conduct thorough research on Turkish, Iranian and Caucasian weaving traditions and on the competitive landscape of rug design houses and home retailers in the US and Europe.
- Document research findings and ensure each design is supported by a rigorous, well‑recorded research foundation.
- Prepare design concepts and deliver final artwork in the required formats.
Required profile
- 8–12 years of professional experience in rug, carpet or textile design.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Turkish, Persian and Caucasian textile motifs.
- Ability to analyse market trends and competitor collections.
Required skills
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Proficiency in Galaincha rug design software.
