Security Researcher – Remote Vulnerability Research

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Security Researcher to join a leading technology company on a remote basis. The role focuses on discovering, analyzing, and mitigating software vulnerabilities across critical systems, helping to protect products used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct advanced vulnerability research across codebases, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Develop proof‑of‑concept exploits to validate findings and assess impact.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement security patches.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, attack vectors, and security trends.
• Document findings in technical reports and present recommendations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong programming expertise in C, C++, Python, or Go.
• Experience with reverse‑engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja.
• Knowledge of common vulnerability classes (buffer overflows, race conditions, logic flaws).
• Familiarity with fuzzing frameworks like AFL, LibFuzzer, or Honggfuzz.
• Understanding of Linux/Windows internals and memory‑corruption techniques.
• Ability to analyze network protocols for security weaknesses.
• Experience with static and dynamic analysis tools (Coverity, Fortify, Valgrind).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation.
