Senior Accountant – Remote (Lahore/Islamabad)

About the role

Edge is launching its Finance vertical and seeks a Senior Accountant to join a global talent network. The role is fully remote, serving North American clients while based in Lahore or Islamabad. You will own accounting cycles, ensure compliance, and act as a trusted financial partner.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes for assigned entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and deliver actionable insights.
• Review complex journal entries, accounting estimates, and maintain balance‑sheet integrity.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor junior accountants and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a reputable university.
• ACC A or CA finalist status.
• 2‑4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and month‑end reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
