Senior Corporate Accountant – Remote

About the role

This position is a full‑time, remote role for a senior corporate accountant supporting a global financial services leader. You will own complex financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive month‑end and year‑end close activities. The role offers high visibility into strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
