Senior Data Architect – Knowledge Graph & CPG Platform

About the role

CONVO is looking for a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and governance of its CPG‑focused knowledge‑graph platform. You will define canonical data models, versioned data contracts, and graph schemas that power both batch and real‑time data products across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define canonical CPG entities, relationships, dimensional models and knowledge‑graph structures.
• Own versioned data contracts from raw ingestion through the CUBE layer to downstream APIs.
• Chair schema‑gate reviews, assess compatibility and approve migration or deprecation plans.
• Design graph persistence and query patterns using Neo4j, TigerGraph or comparable property‑graph technologies.
• Align batch, streaming and feature‑serving representations to keep business definitions consistent.
• Document architecture decisions, modelling standards and conformance tests.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture or enterprise data modelling.
• At least 3 years working with graph databases, semantic models or knowledge graphs.
• Strong background in CPG/retail data domains (products, customers, stores, promotions, pricing).
• Proven ability to translate business semantics into scalable logical and physical data models.
• Leadership experience collaborating with data engineering, AI and application teams.
