Senior DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust Azure‑based platforms for our clients. The role involves managing Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability, security, and cost‑efficiency of cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) including node pools, ingress, networking, DNS, certificates, and private connectivity.
• Maintain Azure Virtual Networks, VPN gateways, peering, private endpoints, private DNS zones, and routing.
• Manage Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Redis, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Container Registry, and related services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Create and maintain Dockerfiles, containerized applications, Helm charts, and Kubernetes manifests.
• Configure environment‑specific secrets, service accounts, managed identities, and workload identity.
• Implement Flyway database migration processes within deployment pipelines.
• Manage Cloudflare DNS, WAF, firewall rules, SSL/TLS, and security configurations.
• Support monitoring, logging, application performance monitoring, and alerting through Datadog.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking, authentication, and availability issues.
• Review infrastructure costs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
• Apply security best practices for access control, encryption, private communication, and credential management.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve deployment reliability and environment readiness.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment procedures, access requirements, and troubleshooting steps.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with AKS and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, repositories, releases, and variable groups.
• Solid knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployments.
• Experience with Azure networking, VPNs, private endpoints, DNS, load balancers, and ingress controllers.
• Experience managing PostgreSQL and database migration workflows.
• Knowledge of Azure Key Vault, managed identities, RBAC, and workload identity.
• Experience with Cloudflare DNS and WAF configuration.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
