Senior Discord Community Manager

About the role

GainzAlgo is seeking a Senior Discord Community Manager to own and grow its Discord community. You will create a vibrant, engaging, and safe environment for traders across stocks, forex, crypto, futures and other markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily interactions on the GainzAlgo Discord server, sparking genuine conversations and encouraging active participation.
• Design and launch community activities such as challenges, polls, competitions, events and other engagement initiatives.
• Welcome new members, improve onboarding, and boost activation and retention rates.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere by preventing toxicity, spam, scams and harassment.
• Configure and maintain Discord server settings, roles, permissions, AutoMod, verification, filters and logs.
• Set up and manage moderation bots for tickets, anti‑spam, anti‑raid, verification and role automation.
• Monitor server security, implement anti‑raid and anti‑scam protections, and regularly review community performance.
• Recruit, train and oversee additional moderators, creating SOPs and shift coverage for 24/7 support.
• Collaborate closely with the GainzAlgo team and escalate critical community issues when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience running Discord communities at a senior level.
• Deep knowledge of Discord administration, moderation, roles, permissions, bots and security features.
• Strong ability to engage members, generate creative community initiatives and grow participation without constant supervision.
• Excellent written and spoken English with a professional communication style.
