Senior Shopify Figma Designer - E-commerce & CRO

About the role

The Emissary Agency is seeking a senior designer to create high‑converting Shopify experiences using Figma. This remote, full‑time role blends UI/UX design with conversion rate optimisation to drive measurable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design Shopify storefronts, landing pages, product, collection, checkout and upsell flows with a mobile‑first approach.
• Collaborate with CRO strategists to analyse user behaviour and propose data‑driven design improvements.
• Create A/B test variations and interactive prototypes using Figma’s advanced features.
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems, including typography, colour palettes, component libraries and design tokens.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, copywriters and QA to ensure seamless handoff and delivery.
• Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions and client feedback meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of UI/UX design experience, with at least three years focused on Shopify stores.
• Strong understanding of conversion psychology, user behaviour and e‑commerce metrics.
• Proven ability to deliver responsive, high‑fidelity designs in a fast‑paced agency environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
