Senior Software Development Engineer

About the role

You will join a globally distributed agile team building a new SaaS platform that powers a suite of enterprise applications for data analytics and security. The role focuses on designing, developing, and operating a highly available, scalable backend service that meets strict quality and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and architect the core backend platform for a SaaS product.
• Create architecture documents, functional specifications, design docs, and test plans.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end development, deployment, and testing of new features.
• Write reliable, secure, performant, and scalable code in Go, Python, C++ or Java.
• Perform code reviews, monitor platform performance, and provide on‑call support.
• Collaborate with customer support to resolve client issues.
• Integrate emerging technologies into the cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with container technologies such as Docker.
• Proven ability to build highly available, distributed cloud systems.
• Strong understanding of multithreaded applications.
• Experience with Linux, Bash scripting, and agile development practices.
• Familiarity with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins) and on‑call troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
