SEO & GEO Lead

About the role

Bricks Tech is seeking a Senior SEO & GEO Lead to own organic growth for both the agency and its clients. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution, focusing on search engine and AI‑driven discovery platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO and Generative Engine Optimization strategies for Bricks Tech and client businesses.
• Conduct keyword, competitor, content‑gap and search‑intent research to identify high‑value topics and pages.
• Create, edit and manage commercially relevant content aligned with user intent.
• Improve brand visibility on Google and AI‑powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews.
• Perform technical and on‑page SEO audits covering site structure, crawlability, indexing, internal linking, schema, redirects and page performance.
• Use Google Search Console to diagnose and resolve indexing, crawling and ranking issues.
• Design and execute backlink strategies, including outreach, digital PR, guest contributions and directory placements.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, project managers and client stakeholders to ensure implementation of recommendations.
• Manage client workstreams independently, delivering strategy, execution, reporting and communication.
• Track performance metrics and present recommendations based on traffic, rankings, conversions, leads and AI‑search visibility.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth or content strategy.
• Proven ability to design and execute end‑to‑end SEO strategies.
• Strong understanding of customer profiles, buyer journeys and conversion‑focused content.
• Excellent research, writing and editing capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
