Social Media Intern

About the role

YBIX, a global technology company offering AI solutions, data engineering, custom software, ERP development, Odoo customization and digital marketing, is hiring a full-time, on-site Social Media Intern in Lahore. The intern supports day-to-day social media activities, working alongside marketing and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X
• Assist in campaign execution and monitor engagement and performance metrics
• Prepare basic reports to inform future content and marketing strategies
• Research trends and competitor activity and contribute ideas to improve audience reach and interaction
• Help manage community interactions by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional way

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or a related field
• Ability to work on-site in Lahore, manage time effectively and collaborate in a team
• Interest in technology and digital transformation, with a proactive attitude toward learning new tools

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of social media and digital marketing
• Ability to create clear, engaging social media content and apply basic marketing principles
• Familiarity with major social platforms and basic analytics tools
• Effective written and verbal communication, with attention to tone and brand voice
• Basic design skills (e.g., Canva or similar) and content scheduling tools are a plus
