Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in e‑commerce to join a global technology leader. The position is fully remote and ideal for new graduates eager to build scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services in a distributed environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code following industry best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver new features.

Required profile

• New‑graduate or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in software development.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges in e‑commerce.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native architectures.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
