Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a global e‑commerce leader. The role focuses on building scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide. You will work remotely and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, debugging, and algorithmic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
