Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Software Engineer specialized in ElectronJS to design, build, and maintain cross‑platform desktop applications. The position is full‑time and reports to the product engineering team of a global technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features ensuring performance, scalability and a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience building applications with ElectronJS.
• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Node.js and modern front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience using Git for version control and testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
