Software Engineer - FinTech (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a leading global financial services firm. The role focuses on building and maintaining core financial platforms that handle real‑time transactions for millions of users. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge technologies in the FinTech space.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend services for financial transaction processing.
• Integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement security measures to meet financial regulations and data‑privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software‑engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in backend development using Java, Python or Go.
• Hands‑on experience with financial transaction systems or payment processing.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture and API design.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.
• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
