Software Engineer – Human Data Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms that process large‑scale human‑generated datasets. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to work with a global leader in data infrastructure and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise data pipelines for batch and real‑time processing of human‑generated data.
• Develop and maintain backend services that support high‑throughput data workloads.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to guarantee platform reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that improve scalability, performance, and security.

Required profile

• Proven experience with large‑scale data infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail when debugging complex systems.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Ability to design and optimise data pipelines for performance and scalability.
