Software Engineer

About the role

z9empire is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to join its Islamabad office. You will work on both backend and full‑stack applications, collaborating with product managers, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend and full‑stack software components.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code following object‑oriented principles.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and adhere to established development workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimise performance and scalability, and support deployment processes.
• Contribute to improving existing systems and ensuring solutions meet product and business requirements.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Hands‑on experience in software development and debugging.
• Practical knowledge of back‑end web development, APIs, databases, and server‑side frameworks.
• Proficiency in object‑oriented programming and common design patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
