Software Engineer, Micro Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable micro‑platforms that power core business services. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to work with a global leader in the technology, information and internet sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate high‑performance micro‑platforms that are reliable and scalable.
• Implement backend services using modern languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment, monitoring and observability.
• Write clean, testable code and uphold engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily on backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed computing.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Go, Python, Java (or similar).
• Container platforms: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform, Ansible.
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
