About the role

Devsinc is looking for a skilled Python Software Engineer to join its Islamabad team. You will lead the design and development of robust Python applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex Python applications and services.
Lead architectural discussions and make strategic technology decisions.
Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
Collaborate with product, QA, and operations to define and implement new features.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and champion innovative solutions.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
2‑3 years of hands‑on Python development experience.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
Proactive ownership mindset and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

Python
Django, Flask or FastAPI
JavaScript and React (or similar front‑end frameworks)
RESTful API design
PostgreSQL or MySQL
MongoDB or Redis (basic exposure)
Git version control
Software design principles (SOLID, clean code)
Unit testing with pytest or unittest
Docker (basic exposure)
Microservices concepts
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) – nice to have
CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) – nice to have
Background processing (Celery, RQ) – nice to have
Authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2) – nice to have
Kubernetes (basic exposure) – nice to have
Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) – nice to have
Agile/Scrum methodology
