Sr. Associate - Content Acquisition and Production

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to lead content acquisition, licensing and production for our digital platforms in Islamabad. The role will shape a commercially valuable content pipeline by collaborating with creators, studios, broadcasters and influencers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute acquisition, licensing and production plans aligned with audience growth targets.
• Identify, source and evaluate shows, podcasts, livestreams, short‑form videos and original series for platform fit.
• Negotiate partnership, licensing, syndication and revenue‑sharing agreements with creators, production houses and rights holders.
• Manage end‑to‑end production lifecycle – concept, scripting, pre‑production, shoots, post‑production, approvals and delivery.
• Supervise shoots, livestreams, podcasts and studio recordings, coordinating crews, presenters, guests and technical teams.
• Maintain a structured content pipeline and calendar, ensuring all rights, releases and contracts are in place.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, Product and Commercial teams to maximise content reach and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Film or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in content production, digital media, OTT or content partnerships.
• Proven ability to plan and manage shoots, budgets, schedules and deliverables independently.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation and editorial judgment.
• Understanding of content rights, licensing structures and partnership models.
• Excellent project‑management and stakeholder‑coordination skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of cameras, lighting and sound equipment.
• Experience with editing workflows and post‑production processes.
