STEM Researcher (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified STEM Researcher to work remotely on a full‑time basis. The successful candidate will design and solve challenging STEM problems that probe the limits of large language models, producing clear, step‑by‑step solutions with rigorous reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve advanced STEM problems to evaluate large language models.
• Produce high‑quality, step‑by‑step solutions with well‑articulated reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem sets with evaluation goals, focusing on abstraction, multi‑step reasoning, and symbolic manipulation.
• Help define new evaluation benchmarks based on physics curricula ranging from early undergraduate to PhD‑level topics.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance analytical capabilities and support future‑proof career growth.

Required profile

• Ph.D., post‑doctoral, or Master’s level expertise in a STEM discipline.
• Strong analytical ability and experience with engineering entrance exams or graduate‑level problem solving.
• Ability to break down complex concepts into clear, simple explanations.
• Creative, lateral thinking and self‑motivation in a remote work environment.
