Tax & Treasury Manager

About the role

The Tax & Treasury Manager will lead the taxation function for the Pakistan business unit, developing and executing tax strategies while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. The role also oversees treasury activities, working capital, and guarantees to support the company's financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations; liaise with tax authorities and consultants.
• Prepare and file accurate direct and indirect tax returns on time.
• Develop and implement local tax strategy aligned with the annual operating plan.
• Provide tax advice to finance and business teams, evaluating tax implications of transactions.
• Manage tax audits, notices, payments and statutory filings.
• Oversee monthly tax and treasury reporting schedules.
• Process all payments for the Pakistan BU in accordance with SLAs and regulations.
• Manage working capital requirements and maintain sufficient funds.
• Coordinate issuance of guarantees and manage banking facilities.
• Handle payroll compliance and support insurance and risk‑management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and support ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA or CFAS.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in tax and treasury functions.
• Strong strategic, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.
