Technical Architect – Remote (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with strategic business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Lead architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to implement and optimise solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
• Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to shape architectural roadmaps.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software architecture, especially with scalable systems.
• Proven ability to work remotely and communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Experience with data engineering, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Design of distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Data engineering concepts.
• Security and compliance expertise.
