UI/UX Designer – Creative Digital Experiences

About the role

Hackney Digital is seeking a creative UI/UX Designer to shape modern, user‑friendly digital experiences. The role involves turning project requirements into clean, responsive interfaces for web and mobile platforms, while collaborating closely with developers and marketers.

Key responsibilities

• Design clean, modern, and intuitive interfaces for web and digital products.
• Produce responsive layouts that function seamlessly across desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI mockups using Figma.
• Adapt and generate graphics for websites, social media, and other digital channels.
• Maintain visual consistency in typography, colour palettes, and component libraries.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Utilise Canva for marketing and digital graphic creation when required.

Required profile

• Strong practical experience with Figma.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple design tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and an eye for clean, modern aesthetics.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
