Unit Head – Data Extraction & Coordination (AVP)

About the role

The National Bank of Pakistan seeks an experienced Unit Head to lead data extraction and coordination activities across its MIS environment. Reporting to the Wing Head MIS, you will ensure accurate, timely data delivery to support business reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly data extractions from multiple banking systems and load them into the MIS database.
• Develop, maintain and update MIS data‑extraction scripts and stored procedures.
• Archive MIS data regularly to manage storage capacity.
• Guarantee the availability and integrity of data for defined reporting periods.
• Prepare ad‑hoc audit reports for the State Bank of Pakistan.
• Maintain backups of critical resources and oversee departmental operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in support and operations of banking applications.
• Proven ability to develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures across multi‑platform databases.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication.
