Virtual Dental Assistant (Remote Full‑Time)

About the role

Health & Virtuals is seeking a Virtual Dental Assistant to provide remote support for U.S. dental practices. Working full‑time from home, you will collaborate with dentists, specialists, and office teams to ensure smooth clinical and administrative operations while delivering an excellent patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound patient calls, schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
• Verify dental insurance eligibility, assist with documentation, pre‑authorizations, and prepare benefit breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate digital patient records, upload referrals, radiographs, consent forms, and organize charts for provider review.
• Support treatment planning workflows, track pending plans, and coordinate patient follow‑up.
• Communicate with dentists, specialists, hygienists, laboratories, and office staff; manage emails, referrals, and internal workflows.

Required profile

• Background in dentistry or dental healthcare (clinician, recent graduate, or related experience).
• Familiarity with dental terminology and willingness to learn U.S. dental software and workflows.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, clear communication skills, and comfort using technology in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Experience with dental practice management software.
