VP Portfolio Operations – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of Portfolio Operations to lead the execution layer of our AI‑powered education platform. In this remote position you will turn data into trusted insights that enable executives to make fast, high‑impact decisions across multiple initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own portfolio‑level dashboards for 10+ concurrent projects, using AI to standardize updates, detect slippage, and surface risks.
• Run recurring vendor performance reviews and maintain rubric‑based scorecards covering delivery, quality, cost, and contractual commitments.
• Lead competitive technology‑vendor procurement, creating structured bid packages, scoring rubrics, and evidence‑backed recommendations.
• Govern contracts and invoices by tracking fee caps, milestones, acceptance criteria, and validating spend against signed terms.
• Leverage AI daily to analyze portfolio data, flag anomalies, draft decision‑ready outputs, and reduce manual administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating at the intersection of portfolio management, vendor oversight, and contract governance.
• Track record of delivering reliable, data‑driven outputs that influence multi‑million‑dollar decisions.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to turn evidence into actionable outcomes.
