WordPress Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Level Marketing Specialist to own the content marketing strategy for our growing WordPress plugin business. The role focuses on creating and publishing high‑quality blog content that drives organic traffic, while also supporting outreach and partnership initiatives within the WordPress ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and identify valuable content opportunities related to WordPress plugins, affiliate marketing, and target audiences.
• Plan, maintain, and execute a practical content calendar.
• Write, edit, and publish SEO‑focused blog articles, including briefs, outlines, titles, meta descriptions, and internal linking plans.
• Update and improve existing articles to boost rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Monitor content performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Research competitors, search trends, and industry developments to uncover new topics.
• Plan and run outreach campaigns with bloggers, YouTubers, WordPress companies, and affiliate marketers to secure backlinks, reviews, and collaborations.
• Support product launches, feature announcements, landing pages, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral.
• Assist in creating documentation, video scripts, social media content, and related materials as needed.
• Leverage AI‑assisted workflows to enhance research and content production while maintaining quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in content marketing, SEO, or digital marketing.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to research topics independently and verify information accurately.
• Experience turning technical or complex subjects into clear, engaging content.
• Self‑starter who can propose new ideas, build content plans, and take ownership of execution.
