Accountant

About the role

Nano Vision, a Lahore‑based chemicals company, is looking for an Accountant to ensure accurate financial administration, reporting and day‑to‑day accounting operations. The role works closely with management and various departments to keep reliable financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions, vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
• Prepare bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly closing activities, trial balances, expense analysis, and management reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, support payment processing, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Maintain organized accounting files and provide documentation for internal reviews, audits, and tax‑related requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to verify purchase, inventory, payroll, and expense information.
• Identify data inconsistencies and recommend improvements to accounting controls and processes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of double‑entry bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and financial reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and structured financial records.
• Experience preparing vouchers, invoices, payment records, trial balances, and routine financial reports.
• Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timely follow‑up.
• Good numerical analysis, attention to detail, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems and quick learning of internal processes.
• Professional communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks, meet reporting deadlines, and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
