Accounting & Reporting Associate

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting & Reporting Associate to support recurring accounting operations and financial reporting. The role is fully remote and follows a 9 AM EST – 6 PM EST schedule, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of accounting records through daily and weekly reviews.
• Perform reconciliations and verify consistency of financial data.
• Prepare and update recurring reporting workbooks and templates.
• Support month‑end closing activities and routine journal entry work.
• Track open items and ensure clean documentation for reporting deliverables.
• Communicate updates, flag issues early, and coordinate with internal team members to meet reporting deadlines.

Required profile

• Public accounting experience.
• Completed ACCA, CMA, CA or be a finalist.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Ability to work the specified EST shift (Monday‑Friday).
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online.
• Microsoft Excel (formulas, structured workbooks, data checks).
• Google Sheets.
• Experience with other accounting software such as Xero.
