AI Strategy Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AI Strategy Consultant to help clients translate AI ambition into actionable, fundable roadmaps. You will guide senior leaders through maturity assessments, operating‑model design, and use‑case prioritisation, ensuring AI initiatives deliver measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AI maturity assessments using structured diagnostic frameworks.
• Build multi‑horizon AI roadmaps (12/24/36‑month) that sequence use cases by value, feasibility and dependency.
• Design AI operating models (CoE, hub‑and‑spoke, federated) and define funding/charge‑back mechanisms.
• Run use‑case discovery workshops, score and prioritise portfolios with RICE or value‑effort matrices.
• Develop AI value‑realisation frameworks, KPIs, baseline metrics and post‑deployment tracking.
• Own AI portfolio management, stage‑gating and investment reallocation.
• Facilitate C‑suite and board workshops to align on AI ambition, risk appetite and change‑management plans.
• Coach client sponsors and broker consensus across business‑unit leaders.

Required profile

• 8–15+ years of strategy or management consulting experience, including 3+ years focused on AI/digital transformation.
• Strong technical fluency in AI/ML architectures, model types and data requirements.
• Proven ability to design AI operating models, governance charters and funding mechanisms.
• Experience with AI maturity models and capability diagnostic frameworks.
• Executive‑level communication and facilitation skills.
