Assistant Manager - Production Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Production Operations will lead end‑to‑end manufacturing activities in Lahore, ensuring products are delivered on time, within quality standards and with minimal waste. You will drive process controls, coordinate maintenance, and champion continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and balance production capacity to meet daily targets.
• Monitor KPIs, track shift performance and generate operational reports.
• Lead and coach frontline staff, conduct performance reviews and resolve conflicts.
• Implement Lean, Kaizen and 5S initiatives to reduce variance and waste.
• Maintain quality checkpoints, manage corrective actions and ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee inventory control, order planning and supplier coordination.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and troubleshoot downtime issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production or operations management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development.
• Hands‑on experience applying Lean, Kaizen, 5S and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to work morning shifts on‑site and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
