AWS Engineer – Cloud (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for high‑traffic applications. This remote contract position involves optimizing AWS services for performance, cost, and security while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain AWS resources such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Monitor system health and reliability with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third‑party tools.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to AWS services, networking, and security configurations.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for team knowledge sharing and compliance.

Required profile

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong background in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) on AWS.
