Business Development Executive – Upwork Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive new project acquisition on Upwork and other freelance platforms for Haydevs Studio, a digital services provider based in Lahore. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, managing bids, and building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities on Upwork and other freelance marketplaces.
• Manage the end‑to‑end bidding process to maintain a steady pipeline of projects.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements, provide proposals, and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to guarantee timely project execution and compliance with client specifications.
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to spot potential opportunities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, analysing sales pipeline and achievements.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role, preferably on Upwork.
• Proven record of winning projects on freelance platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software and sales performance tools.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
