Business Development Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Business Development Specialist to join our Lahore office. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and nurturing new business opportunities for our software development services, working closely with technical and project teams to deliver tailored proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Research and prioritize relevant job postings on Upwork that match our service portfolio.
• Write and submit customized proposals, recommending competitive pricing while protecting margins.
• Warm up leads, manage pre‑call follow‑up and schedule meetings for senior staff to close.
• Track and report monthly performance metrics such as proposals sent, responses, interviews and contracts won.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align solutions with client requirements.

Required profile

• Proven track record managing Upwork bidding and proposal strategy for an agency or freelancer.
• Strong written English for client‑facing communication.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Experience in lead generation, prospecting and pipeline management in B2B or software services.
