Chef Cook – Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Chef Cook to join our café kitchen in Islamabad. The role focuses on preparing and cooking a variety of café‑style items, maintaining recipe consistency and delivering fast, high‑quality service during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook coffees, shakes, and fast‑food items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up workstations, stock ingredients, manage mise en place and ensure smooth hand‑over between shifts.
• Follow HACCP and local food‑safety practices, keep cooking areas and equipment clean.
• Monitor food freshness, check temperatures, taste and adjust seasoning to meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with front‑of‑house staff to prioritize orders, manage ticket times and minimise waste.
• Assist the supervisor with inventory checks and communicate any shortages.
• Support training of junior team members and collaborate with the service team.

Required profile

• Proven experience cooking in a café, fast‑food outlet or small restaurant with similar menu items.
• Strong knife skills and ability to prepare ingredients quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of grilling, frying, sautéing and basic baking techniques.
• Understanding of HACCP, temperature control and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality.
