Data Scientist - Python (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to develop, train, and optimize AI models for a global technology leader. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with researchers, annotators, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python code for training and optimizing AI models.
• Conduct evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank AI model responses across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Produce clear explanations and rationales for model evaluations, demonstrating strong technical reasoning.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Experience with data science and machine‑learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases using analytical skills.
• Strong bug‑fixing abilities and thorough technical documentation experience.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating reasoning in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
