Data Scientist – Python (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to develop, train, and optimize AI models for a leading technology client. The role involves close collaboration with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback and refine reward models.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python code for AI model training and optimization.
• Conduct evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank AI model responses across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Produce clear explanations and rationales for model evaluations in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data science and machine‑learning techniques.
• Strong analytical abilities to extract insights from public data sources.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting reasoning and technical details.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
