Design Lead

About the role

KnowledgeCity is seeking a hands‑on Design Lead to shape and execute the visual direction of its marketing initiatives. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of motion graphic, UX/UI, and graphic designers to produce cohesive, high‑impact creative across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the creative vision for motion graphics, website UX/UI, and overall campaign design.
• Lead the production of promotional videos, explainer videos, social media clips, and other branded video assets.
• Translate marketing goals and product messaging into storyboards, style frames, design systems, and production plans.
• Review and approve motion design work for composition, typography, animation quality, pacing, and brand alignment.
• Direct UX/UI design for the marketing site, landing pages, and digital experiences, ensuring they are intuitive, responsive, accessible, and conversion‑focused.
• Oversee graphic design for icons, illustrations, pitch decks, email campaigns, event materials, and other marketing collateral.
• Establish and maintain visual standards, a scalable design system, and an organized asset repository.
• Provide clear briefs, feedback, and final approvals while managing timelines, dependencies, and delivery status.

• Proven leadership experience in multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Strong visual storytelling ability and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey objectives, audience insights, and quality expectations.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Expertise in motion graphics, UX/UI design, and graphic design.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems and style guides.
• Knowledge of accessibility and responsive design best practices.
