DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in infrastructure to join a leading technology client on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to accelerate software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and implement improvements for high availability.
• Collaborate with development, security and operations teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Support and optimise cloud environments on AWS, Azure or GCP, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in infrastructure‑as‑code and cloud platforms.
• Solid scripting abilities in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerisation, orchestration and monitoring tools.
