DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are hiring for a client to work as a DevOps Engineer on a contract basis. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support software development across cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
• Implement and enforce security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and branching strategies.
