Director of Academic Excellence (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is looking for a senior academic strategist to lead the execution of its proven accelerated‑learning model. The role is fully remote and reports directly to the executive team, shaping curriculum, data‑driven assessment, and global advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that translate learning‑science principles into curriculum design, motivational systems, and app functionality.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and results across school sites.
• Integrate data, stakeholder interviews, and observations into ecosystem assessments that pinpoint obstacles and prescribe interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback, and milestone management.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning publicly at keynotes, ministries of education, and other high‑profile venues.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or EdTech leadership roles, with a track record of delivering measurable learning outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to build high‑performing teams and drive systemic change across diverse educational environments.
