Director of Learning Strategy (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior academic leader to drive its evidence‑based learning model at scale. As Director of Learning Strategy you will translate learning‑science research into operational systems that enable students to learn twice as fast in just two hours per day. The role is fully remote and reports directly to the executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement academic structures that turn learning‑science principles into curriculum, student‑engagement, and technology frameworks.
• Conduct execution assessments with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability and measurable outcomes across partner schools.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews and classroom observations into comprehensive evaluations that pinpoint obstacles and prescribe targeted solutions.
• Maintain strategic cohesion through structured planning, continuous feedback loops and progress benchmarking.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning publicly at conferences, keynote events and meetings with national education authorities.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design or a closely related field.
• Proven track record of building and scaling evidence‑based learning systems with measurable impact.
• Extensive experience leading academic teams and driving organization‑wide execution.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for high‑visibility advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
