Distribution Requirements Planning Specialist (DRP Specialist)

About the role

The Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) Specialist will ensure efficient distribution planning across Nestlé’s supply network in Pakistan. You will balance inventory, freshness and transportation efficiency while supporting cost‑effective logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and optimise supply and dispatch planning to meet demand.
• Plan transportation loads for cost and efficiency optimisation.
• Manage inventory levels to balance service, cost and freshness.
• Monitor planning exceptions and resolve issues proactively.
• Execute weekly planning cycles and ensure service‑level targets are met.
• Identify supply risks and escalate when necessary.
• Improve distribution planning and logistics processes.
• Define and maintain DC‑wise stock cover policies.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Transport and DC Operations teams.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in supply‑chain or logistics functions.
• Experience in distribution centre, transport, factory logistics or demand‑supply planning.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain, logistics or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
