Django Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a talented Python developer to join our remote team. The position focuses on building backend APIs with Django and Django REST Framework, as well as managing services and infrastructure on Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django and DRF.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including Firebase and token‑based solutions.
• Deploy and operate services on Google Cloud (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Firestore).
• Write and maintain database schemas with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and raw SQL.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage CI pipelines.
• Monitor logs, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Django.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working on Linux (Ubuntu) and using the command line.
• Willingness to attend evening meetings (8 pm + US/Canada time zones).
