Electrical Engineer – Data Center & Telecom Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the power and cooling operations of our data centres and communication facilities in Lahore. The role ensures high availability of critical infrastructure, coordinates with vendors and internal teams, and supports the design and deployment of reliable power solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 24/7 operations of data centre, POP and communication room power and cooling systems.
• Maintain availability of AC/DC power, generators, UPS, batteries and HVAC across sites.
• Design communication room layouts and contribute to infrastructure planning for new projects.
• Develop and implement power and cooling solutions in collaboration with vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, AMCs and contracts.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Apply data‑centre standards and industry best practices using DCIM and NMS tools.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and capacity‑planning recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in telecom, datacom or data‑centre infrastructure operations.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, UPS, generators, batteries and cooling infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with DCIM/NMS platforms.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
