Engineering Manager – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a distributed team developing foundational large language models. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to shape AI systems from research prototypes to production‑grade intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams of 20+ developers across Python, Java, and JavaScript stacks.
• Collaborate closely with researcher clients to ensure satisfaction with delivered work.
• Maintain rigorous review processes for high‑quality datasets.
• Oversee project transitions from initiation to stable delivery, taking full responsibility for outcomes.
• Identify and implement measures to improve code quality across the team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in an engineering management role.
• Proven track record managing large technical teams in a delivery‑oriented environment.
• Hands‑on technical ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills with a focus on motivation.
