Event Manager – Coordination & Business Development

About the role

We are seeking a confident, organized, and proactive professional to join our event management team. The role combines event coordination with business development, focusing on client interaction, social media management, and successful event execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s social media platforms and create engaging content.
• Conduct cold calls and outbound outreach to generate new leads.
• Identify potential clients and promote event management services.
• Follow up with leads via phone, WhatsApp, email, and other channels.
• Prepare professional proposals, presentations, quotations, and costing.
• Arrange and conduct client meetings.
• Coordinate with vendors and support event planning and execution.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in event management, business development, sales, client servicing, social media, marketing, or coordination.
• Strong cold‑calling and sales abilities with lead conversion focus.
• Confidence in client interactions and meeting facilitation.
• Good negotiation and vendor‑management capabilities.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure.
• Professional, presentable appearance and willingness to work beyond regular hours during events.
